We’re growing our community: 325 facebook followers, 246 blog subscribers, 279 twitter followers – and we’re grateful to everyone who is making space for what we’re sharing.

Loved hearing from a new Pembertonian that someone had recommended following the Wellness Almanac as one of the best resources for local news.

We’ve now welcomed our 35,000th visitor, and keep on keeping on, with daily posts, from more than a dozen contributors.

What does it tell us about ourselves?

We’re more than happy to take a dose of courage with our morning coffee. We pull together in times of crisis. We love feisty organic farmers. We’re curious about murderous birds. We love bannock and books and hearing from one another on what we’re thinking and struggling with.

THAT LAST POINT is worth repeating, in my opinion. Most of all, we love hearing from one another. About what we’re thinking and struggling with. So if you’ve ever had a mildly twitchy finger, or something to get off your chest, let that embolden you.

As Elizabeth Gilbert writes in her latest tome, Big Magic, who do you need permission from? What are you waiting for? You are biologically wired to express yourself creatively. Take the space. We welcome you.
