The story of what shaped the Pemberton Landscape, presentation September 24

Geological time is happening now. Or, so the rock geeks joke.

But it is a wonderful way to get out of one’s head and the tiny little emergencies that often crowd out the wide open space of zen-mind, to remind ourselves that we are not just living in this short fraction of a moment, but also a timeline that is long and dramatic and has involved volcanoes and floods and great seismic upheavals.

Join Veronica Woodruff from the Stewardship Pemberton Society on Tuesday September 24th at 7 pm at the Pemberton Library for an interesting and informative presentation on Pemberton and the powerful forces that have shaped the local landscape, from landslides to fires and floods.

Space is limited so registration is required.
