Pemberton’s Seedy Saturday is returning again this year!
Get a Spring in your step by coming down to the barn to trade seeds, take part in our workshops, visit our vendors and get inspired for the summer ahead!
There will be the seed trade table, vendors including West Coast Seeds, the Pemberton Seed Library and other activities.

Xeriscaping – Waterside Gardening Workshop:
Xeriscaping is the practice of gardening or landscaping that reduces or eliminates the need for additional water Catherine, owner of From the Garden Shed, will share methods & practices, as well as the appropriate plant material for this type of gardening in the Pemberton Valley. Learn how to reduce use of water and maintenance by utilizing the principles of xeriscaping.
Nomad Gardening – Quick and easy no-dig methods for new plots or temporary locations.
Join Kera Willis of Mountain Horse School to learn how she has set up productive plots all across Canada using lasagna gardening techniques. If you have access to a sunny patch of ground and materials such as leaves, straw, compost, grass clippings and rotted manure, you can have a garden with amazing living soil – almost instantly. Learn how you can bring the ecological consciousness of your favourite wild places home to your garden and into the DNA of your cells as it becomes part of the food you eat!
The Pemberton Seed Library will be at Seedy Saturday too!
