Ground-breaking Ceremony for the new Lil’wat Gas Station

I’m immensely grateful for Natalie Langmann’s exquisite instagram takeover this week, which kicked off with some of her images from the Ground Breaking Ceremony last Friday for Lil’wat Nation’s new Gas Station.

Thanks to Natalie for her permission to share the images here, too.

Hi my name is Natalie Langmann, and I’m doing this weeks take-over. Watch out, I mostly post photos of my kid at @nattocatto. I work in Business Development with @murphyconstructioncorp. For the past few years, Murphy and the Lil’wat Nation have been working closely together, so much so that every carpenter, carpenter’s helpers, and labourers are all First Nations. Today I was honoured to witness and photograph the ground breaking ceremony of the future Lil’wat Gas Station. This soon-to-be hub will be located on the corner of Hwy 99 and Portage Rd, across from the church, and will be a gathering place for the Mount Currie community and a destination for visitors. #changingthefuture #lilwatnation #mountcurrie #mtcurriebc
