What documenting a week in her life revealed: Lara Wall reflects on her instagram takeover
This is a guest post by Lara Wall, who was our guestagrammer the week of July 3, 2017.
Hi! My name is Lara Wall. I have been asked to do the take over this week. I love photography and trying to tell stories with pictures. I have lived in Pemberton for over fifteen years. I was raised in Nova Scotia but always felt like I needed to be somewhere else. Driving into this valley has always felt like coming home. During this week I hope I can show you my view of why I love this town and community. #takeoverbyLara
When I was asked to take over the Wellness Almanac Instagram for a week the first thing that ran through my head was “What the heck am I going to post?!”, the second was “Oh man this week is going to be boring for followers!”.
Well, lo and behold, I didn’t have a problem finding something to post and now realize my slow rural life isn’t as slow as I thought it was.
I also discovered that I am able to spend most of my free time with my daughter.
She even comes to volunteer at Pemberton BMX, and none of our family members race. I love that just wanting to help seems to have been passed down my bloodline. Not a bad trait in my books.
I love this community and I love the area we are so lucky to call our home.
