POSTPONED Joint Community Open House on Infrastructure Project : Feb 25, 5-7:30pm, Ull’us Community Complex
Update as of Tuesday Feb 24: Please note, that due to the passing of two Lil’wat community members, tomorrow evening’s CIPP Open House has been cancelled. A new date is yet to be determined.
The Village of Pemberton and Lil’wat Nation were one of 6 teams chosen across Canada out of 100 applicants to take part in the Community Infrastructure Partnership Program (CIPP) – a federal program designed to help municipalities and neighbouring First Nations communities collaborate more effectively, to develop joint service agreements. To kick-off the participation in the CIPP program, Lil’wat Nation and the Village of Pemberton will be hosting a Community Open House on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, between 5pm-7:30pm at Ull’us Community Complex in Mount Currie.
