Lindsay May and I are currently enrolled in the same class. Mother Goose. We’re learning nursery rhymes. She said the other day, “I’m used to being really really busy, but I’m trying to be more present than productive at the moment,” and thereby reaffirmed her status in my mind as a local wise woman and coach worth listening to. (I think local seniors all agree.)
As a Wellness Champion, the local trainer and community builder was one of the first people I reached out to in my community poll on Vitality. (What is it? How do I get me some?)
Here’s what she said:
Life is a blessing, even the tough days!
Each moment is an opportunity to learn, and grow and within each of those moments, we have a choice to embrace what the universe is offering or resist…
I do my best to embrace, regardless of the circumstances!
I love this quote by Helen Keller: “Keep your face to the sunshine and you can not see the shadows!”
