Next up in our new column, Work in Progress, (which last featured photographer Russell Dalby), we sneak a peek into the creative space of Pemberton organic farmer and musician, Jesse Fromowitz, who recorded this meditation music to amazing pictures from Pemberton.

What inspired this work?

I put this one together mainly to share one of my songs and a bunch of pictures I had taken around here.

Where is this piece headed?

I don’t sell my songs, I sell my flutes that I make out of cedar, bamboo and other types of wood. In that song I play the Japanese bamboo Shakuhachi flute and the Cedar native American love flute. I do sell them sometimes at the Pemberton Farmers Market.
