Community gathering spaces and events (including a pool), opportunities to connect, and more counsellors were the most common responses, when people were asked what they would like to see in the community to support personal resilience.

- Community Climate change action plan includes public transportation
- A support group for women 60+ would be amazing!
- To be honest this survey allows me to see a lot – so thank you … I think a place for gathering and story telling ? Elders from other backgrounds it would be beautiful to gain wisdom and story from ones that have learnt and grown before me
- Would be great to “get to know” practitioners, modalities available in town to make connection
- More gatherings that bring communities together to recognize important times.
- More physical gathering spaces (halls and spaces available to rent for community gathering and events)
- More counsellors available, a swimming pool – I know that sounds strange but it would be another way to exercise and meet up with friends
- Good governance
- Normalizing slowing down so we all have time to connect (me included). I really think we need to work on housing and food security right now.
- Casual community spaces to socialize
- Drumming held at community barn
- compassion
- Field house with pool and rink. Pub
- More environmental spirituality focused events
- More playgrounds and activity spaces and communal gatherings are so welcome
- Art shows, live presentations as gathering places
- Active hope against quiet racism, strategies to confront anti-reconciliation sentiment
- Support group for grief
- More opportunities to connect with other people
- More social services
- more things to do in the evening
- Increased opporunities to work as a network of like-minded people. This should be supported through existing programs (e.g., NGO’s) with specific mandates rather than new programs/groups. It would also be great to have additional professional networking opportunities.
- Conversation and action on keeping Pemberton’s feeling of tight knit community alive.

- living wages
- More affordable housing

- Safe place to live and work.
- PWD for adults
- Listening to the coming generations. Open and educated group conversations to young adults who are well educated. Listening to them and acting on what the young adults and younger generation are wanting in their future for a sustained, healthy Nation.
- the ability to be seen
- Bowling alley, Recreation Centre unattached to offices
- A significant Community based Etiquette Training implemented to individuals who work for the Lil’wat Nation Band and openly condemn, discriminate and attemps to defame (via social media) the Lil’wat Nation Chief and Council and the Lil’wat Retail Operations due to taking wronful inspiration from the infamous individual Gabriel Mccormick.
- An appropriate way for Lil’wat Nation to state the First Nations Communities overall condemnation of spreading false information about indigenous culture and politics (especially when in regards to language). And condemn those who discriminate against their own community members who do not wish to converse with them due to them attempting to converse in the local language when under the influence of alcohol (which is greatly frowned-upon).
