What to expect? The invitation is to share an understanding of mushrooms, deepen your connection to the land and inspire you to learn more.
As outlined on the eventbrite registration page: “We will gather at OneMile Lake park at 10am for opening thoughts then head into the nearby trails. Please note – this is a walk to see and learn, NOT to forage for mushrooms. We will aim to walk for just under two hours, then head back to the park to wrap up. We will do our best to choose easy walking terrain that suits a wide range of physical abilities, though the area is hilly. Please wear walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. There is an outhouse at the OneMile Lake parking area, but no bathrooms along the trails. Please, no dogs.”
