| What is a Library of Things? A Library of Things is a collection of non-traditional library items available for Pemberton & District Library patrons to borrow for free. What kind of things can I borrow? You can borrow eReaders, Literacy Kits, Portable DVD players, Radon Detection Kits, kitchen equipment and more.. Check out our full list here! How do I borrow an item? Browse our Library of Things list from homeand place a hold on an item you’d like to borrow. Or visit the library and check out our new Library of Things display in the lounge. Bring the item you like to borrow to our Information Desk and a staff member will check out the item for you or place a hold on it, if it is currently checked out. How long can I borrow an item? Loan periods are different for each item, check the front cover for the loan periods of the item you would like to borrow. You may be able to renew your item, as long as no one else it waiting for it. How do I return an item? Return the item at our Information Desk and a staff member will check in the item for you.
