Who are you really? DNA testing info session at the Library

The Library is hosting an information seminar on DNA testing for Genealogy, on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at 7 PM – 8:30 PM

Find out about the different types of DNA testing that are available and which might be best for your needs. This session will cover ethnicity estimates, privacy issues and how to use your results and matches to help break through brick walls in your family tree.

The presentation is aimed towards beginners, but anyone with an interest and experience in DNA testing and genealogy is welcome.

A Guide to Genealogy Research with Teresa Smith

Museum Supervisor and Genealogy Guide Teresa Smith will be presenting a workshop, A Guide to Genealogy Research. Thursday September 26, 1-3pm $2. As seats are limited to 20, be sure to confirm by email. Come and try your hand at family research. Pointers on how to search for that elusive root.
