Lil’watul elder Clara John to share smudging and healing wisdom at SLCC, March 27

First Nations Healing Through Smudging: Cleansing Mind, Body & Spirit

Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre is honoured to host Clara John of Lil’wat Nation in leading an informative session about First Nations healing and cleansing processes. Free for all to attend, participants are encouraged to come in with open minds in order to receive emotional or spiritual healing from this celebrated elder of Lil’wat Nation. For individuals who suffer from asthma or have allergies please be aware that the space will be smoky from burning a blend of sweet grass (adapted from Plains people), red cedar, yellow cedar, juniper, pine and sage for smudging purposes.

This event is FREE to attend, but space is limited. Please email tours@slcc.ca by Monday, March 25 to secure your spot!
