The 5 Most Wanted Invasive Species

Know ’em, name ’em, and drive ’em out of town.

Tackling Invasive Species, which I now see can be a gesture of reconciliation, helping to decolonize our local landscape, as well as an act of stewardship, starts with knowing thy enemy.

The Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council is on it.

Here are your 5 nastiest suspects – or, the “high-stakes” weeds as Clare Greenberg told the Pique.

  • Himalayan Blackberry
  • Purple Loosestrife

The goal is complete eradication of these nasties. if you see them, report them to the Sea to Sky Invasive Species via their website, and check out the links to take the appropriate action. Some of these menaces should be approached very carefully.
