Spring Forward Tonight (and some Survival Strategies for adjusting the kids to daylight saving)
Turn the clocks forward an hour before you hit the hay tonight.
Ah, that seems so simple.
But anyone with kids knows that throwing the sleep schedule off by an hour is… a big deal. (Anyone without kids is probably rejoicing because you’ll get an extra hour of sleep.)
I trawled the internet to find some helpful tips on switching over, but it all seemed quite ridiculous, (maybe I’m tired), and boiled down to “this may cause the members of your family to be unusually grumpy. Try and roll with it.”
On another note, for something actually helpful, “springing forward” is a great trigger to change the batteries in your smoke alarm.
