Wellness: Sleep. (Get more.)

  sleep-1 I’ve probably taken more day-time naps in the past 18 months than in my entire adult life. Certainly, since University. It’s weird, how naughty I feel, how guilty and unproductive and self-indulgent: sleep? in the middle of the day? when there’s laundry and dishes and endless chores, not to mention, actual work, to be done? Afterwards, though? Born again. I’m guessing I’m not alone in thinking of sleep as an indulgence. North Americans seem to be in the middle of a sleep crisis. But it’s one of those basic self-care issues, like drinking water, giving hugs, and giving yourself a break, that we oughta take back! What tips do you have for getting a good night’s sleep when it’s hot out?
