This weekend, the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation hosts its 21st annual TELUS Winter Classic.
The non-profit is the ultimate Fairy Godmother in this corridor, most recently committing $240,000 to make Pemberton’s Community Barn a reality.
That’s over and above the money they’ve granted in 2013 to the Pemberton BMX Society, Ull’us Child Care Centre Playground, Pemberton Food Bank, Stewardship Pemberton, Pemberton Secondary School, Slow Food Cycle, Signal Hill Elementary and the Winds of Change, amongst others.
So here’s a thank you to all those attending the events this weekend. We hope you have a sensational time. Your generosity makes a big difference.
