The Pemberton Arts Council (PAC) is looking for its next Executive Director, for a part-time role, at approximately 20 hours a week. Check out the posting at https://www.pembertonartscouncil.com/Employment?fbclid=IwAR0qGIXoxWJJu8ZMcFeLbFucLanSVTZrH2Irwxtpi9QjL3YgIM1IhrnvLks
Combining remote work and onsite event production, the role requires creativity, passion, leadership, collaboration and wizardry. And you get to make a visible impact on the community.

In the past two years since coming on board in November 2021, outgoing executive director Anna Lynch organized a community survey to find out what the people want (live music and art/craft classes came up trumps).

She also organized the Pet Portraits exhibit at the Museum and workshops on how to paint a portrait of a fur baby in September, a youth mural camp in August, two Mountain Muse weekend long festivals in June, A Pint for Pemberton fundraiser in April (live music out at the Beerfarmers, a signature beer fundraiser, and an enamel pin fundraiser, and easter egg hunt and crafts for families), collaborated on the Diving In lake clean up and art exhibit, a membership drive, an Art Hop, and a Dave Petko mural at the Health Care Centre. There is more art in our community since Anna came on board, and I appreciate her hard work and the results and events it generated for us all. One look through the Pemberton Arts Council’s Photo Gallery on their Facebook page and it’s pretty clear how much amazing creative flourishing has been enabled in the past two years.
