Rise: a documentary from the communities along the Lower Lillooet Lake Road

Last year, Xa’xsta (also known as the Douglas First Nation) successfully applied for a $405,000 BC Jobs grant, to create training, mentorship and opportunities for entrepreneurs in the communities.

This video gives a small peek at what has been accomplished through the Roots of Indigenous Strength & Entrepreneurship program, a unique entrepreneurship focused program piloted here.
