After many years stewarding Stewardship Pemberton, Dawn Johnson is passing the torch. An amazing opportunity is now open for someone who wants to have an impact on their community, be immersed in meaningful employment, and work in the beautiful Pemberton valley with a team of dedicated and passionate people.

The part-time Executive Director (ED) is integral to building strong community relationships, managing fundraising opportunities, achieving strategic planning goals, guiding program delivery, and staff supervision.


Primary functions include fundraising, supporting program delivery, developing and deepening key partnerships, leading long and short term strategic and operational planning, maintaining and managing the One Mile Lake Nature Centre, financial management, team management and board leadership.

They’re also hiring for Nature Camp staff – one seasonal part time teacher (starting April – November 2018) and two seasonal full time summer positions (July and August 2018) to help with our nature education programs at the One Mile Lake Nature Centre, with the possibility for extensions.
