Seedy Saturday is coming to Pemberton, April 2, 1-4pm

This is radical, and I mean that in the way we used to say it as kids, (excellent dude) and in the political sense, because there is nothing more empowering to individuals and communities than to reclaim our right to save and swap seeds, and not be beholden to mega-corporations who used smart lawyers and small consciences to patent the very instructions for life build into a seed germ.

My political rabble-rousing aside, it could just be a sweet old time at the Downtown Community Barn, with live music, the Mushroom Man, and an introduction to the new Pemberton seed library.

Here’s to food security, friends. And growing so much more of our own, right here, in our beautiful, lush valley.
