Leading Women: an International Women’s Day panel on Women & Leadership at the Library, Tuesday, March 8, 7pm

Women's Day

What does it take to be a leader?

Don’t say “balls.”

Because if you  believe that, even though it definitely takes guts, grit and grace, you’re overlooking a ton of talented candidates.

We have that talent in spades in our communities.

And some of them have agreed to sit on a panel on Tuesday night, to celebrate International Women’s Day, and talk about leadership, what it means, what it takes, and why the girls have got it going on.

Spearheaded by Cindy Filipenko and Mo Douglas, the hosts will be joined by Maxine Joseph-Bruce, Helena Edmonds, Shirley Henry, Lois Joseph and Karen Ross.

Bring a young woman you know and admire. And join the opportunity to start talking about how enlightened leadership came make our valley awesome.
