Workout/sanity sessions for parents with 2-5 year olds – sign up now at the Community Centre for February and March
Dear parents of small children (specifically, two to five year olds),
To remedy feeling like this: (prone on couch experiencing symptoms of fatigue and exasperation)
we suggest (as do many experts and certified professionals): exercise.
The Pemberton and District Community Centre has a great workout room/gym, and value added classes, like the killer-tough-but-good Combo Spin class every Wednesday and Friday with the amazing Angela Leggett.
The added bonus? 90 minutes of childcare for your 2-5 year old, for $7.50, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
So book yourself some personal time. (No one is going to judge if you just dress up in your gym gear, drop off the kid and go read in the library for an hour. Or sneak out for a latte and some adult conversation.)
