Register Now for Seminar on Helping Prevent Alcohol-Exposed Pregnancies, April 1

I jokingly posted a link to this article in the (not that esteemed) newspaper in the UK, Daily Telegraph, with the headline “Children of mothers who drink alcohol during pregnancy ‘better behaved”. But after I posted it, I felt a bit queasy – FASD is not a laughing matter.

This seminar being offered free for service providers who work with women of child-bearing age, in general and vulnerable populations, including nurses, physicians, pregnancy outreach programmers, midwives, mental health workers or substance use service providers, has received a lot of positive feedback from previous attendees… and provides a valuable context for the conversation.

It’s a half-day education opportunity offered for free for service providers working with women in childbearing years. Registration is required as space is limited. Register online here.
