In Ucwalmictws, the language of the Lil’wat Nation, Tsi’pun means “food storage cellar or root house.” It’s also the name for the Band-run grocery store, located on Black Bear Road at the new site.

Today, from 3pm – 6pm, the community is invited to celebrate the grand re-opening of the supermarket, after a renovation that added a commercial kitchen, that will provide more food choices at Tsi’pun and at the Lil’wat Gas Station when it opens.
