A month ago, we shared a call for entries Líl̓wat7ul photographers to submit photographs to be incorporated into the 2017 Líl̓wat Nation’s Annual.
The winners have been selected.
Congratulations to Jaime Pascal and Levi Nelson.
(Levi was our guestagrammer in early July. You can bet we’ll be inviting Jaime, too.)
Jaime won the Grand Prize for the landscape titled “Lilwatemclhkan—I am Lílwat.”

Levi Nelson took second place with a photograph from his series, “Líl̓wat Girls, 2016.”

Jaime’s “My Papa Fishing for Zumak (Spring Salmon) at Lillooet Lake” took 3rd place.

Both photographers will have their images featured in the 2016/17 Líl̓wat Nation Annual Report due to be published this October. Pascal will receive an iPad Mini for her 1st place win.
It was exciting to see that both adult and youth photographers entered their work, Our congratulations go out to all of those who sent images of what they personally celebrate about Líl̓wat life.
