Thank you to Winds of Change for allowing me to share my view of the Pemberton Area with an Instagram take over, through the lens of being the Pemberton Arts Council’s Administrative Assistant. It gave me a chance to think about the places where we see art in and around our community.

My definition of art and culture is broad and includes everything from fine art, to entertainers, to the art of creating trails, great food and beautiful gardens! This week I’m going to share posts that reflect art is where ever people have chosen to create it!

Sometimes we see this creativity unexpected places like the beautiful paintings hanging halls of the Health Care Centre or a perfect wood bridge deep in the woods on one of our local trails.

It also opened my eyes to the fact that there is so much more room in Pemberton and the surrounding areas to incorporate public art, art courses and events that bring the arts to life here and the joy of expression to everyone.
