Kamana Bikadi had one week this summer that wasn’t jam-packed and she agreed to instagram for us. Here’s how it went down.

In between university, camping trips, vacations, visiting family, working downtown and conferences, Kamana Bikadi managed to squeeze a week of instagramming into her schedule for us.

While she’s based in Vancouver for school, we caught her on a week when her weekend was going to bring her back to Pemberton.

I thought it would be interesting to see life from her perspective in that place of transition – bouncing between the city and the community where she grew up.

It’s a wild juxtaposition: from skyscrapers,

to skyscraping mountains.

It was a great reminder for me that, despite this beautiful place, there are beautiful places everywhere. Sometimes, it’s about how you look, as much as what you’re looking at.

And that the best summer moments pretty much always require friends, water and a fire.
