Breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day.
Even more so, on Wednesday, 9 December, when the Pemberton Secondary School Interact Club will be hosting a fundraiser breakfast.
Yes. Teenagers. Up early. Making you breakfast. To make the world a better place.
How could you not take up that invitation?
12 students from Pemberton Secondary School make up the Interact Club of Pemberton. President Riel Tétreault explains that their goal is to “make our community, and the world, a better place.”
Every year, the Club chooses a local cause and a global cause to support.
This year, they’ve focussed support on helping Syrian refugees.
And they’re giving Pembertonians an easy way to help.
Come to breakfast on Wednesday December 9 at the Pony.
The breakfast will run from 6:30-8:30 am, and will be by donation.
All profits are going to the UNHCR to help Syrian refugees, and will be matched by the Canadian government.
