Sugar: not as sweet as it seems

I must admit that I felt sorry for the potato back when it was fell out of favour – but now avoiding sugar is the flavour-of-the-month, and the idea of paying more attention to what I eat, in order to consume less sneaky sugar, is slowly growing on me. Laura Zgud planted the seed during her 50 Day Wellness Challenge, and now Sydney McDonald, blogger for the Sea to Sky Mental Health Partnership makes the link between a healthy mind and attitude and a powerful sense of wellbeing with cutting back on the sweets. Must be a call to inject more “sweet stuff” into life in other ways – snuggles with kids, quality time with friends, beautiful fragrances from the garden… Sugar
