
When: Sat., May 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. & 2-5 p.m.
The Pemberton Music Festival Job Fair will welcome on-site applications for short-term jobs in several areas including festival and artist relations, production, housing/lodging, bar operations/concessions, box office, guest services, VIP Services, parking and transportation.
Festival department heads and crew chiefs will be on-site to share details like job descriptions, time commitment and skills required. Please note that some work opportunities begin weeks before the festival.
All job applicants must be 19 years or older.
The job fair takes place May 24 at two locations: the Pemberton Community Centre, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Ull’us Community Centre in Mt. Currie, from 2 to 5 p.m.
There are also volunteer opportunities in exchange for a ticket to the festival. Volunteers are offered opportunities to work with friends and can request to be scheduled around their favorite performances. General volunteers are scheduled to work during the festival, July 18th to 20th. A small number of volunteers will also be selected for Pre-Festival and Post-Festival work. These applicants must be available July 14 to July 17 or July 21 and 22. Volunteers must be 19 years or older. Opportunities are now open on-line at www.pembertonmusicfestival.com/info/volunteer. There are also a few opportunities for youth to earn a festival ticket by volunteering in the Pre and Post Festival categories. Youth aged 15 to 18 must apply in-person at the Pemberton Music Festival Job Fair.
