Seasonal Observations: Surprise Visit from a Prairie Falcon

Our birding correspondent, John Tschopp, reports that on Sunday, a Prairie Falcon was taken into care at Clover Road in Pemberton.

It still has the hunting skills, as it ate some fowl. This bird is listed as “accidental” on the Pemberton list.  We are happy to have a picture record of it now.
