In our ongoing series of profiles of Pemberton Farmers’ Market vendors, we’re excited to introduce Tanina Williams.

The Pemberton Farmers’ Market runs every Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm from June 19  to October 9, on Frontier Street (in front of the pharmacy and new liquor store), and features almost 20 different vendors, live music, community groups, and the most spectacular backdrop around.

Find out what’s fresh by following them on twitter, @PembieMarket, or Facebook.

Tanina Williams is from Lil’wat Nation and she makes frybread/bannock with baking powder and yeast.

Next year she hopes to make it gluten free.  She also gather leaves to make teas,  works with inner cedar bark and does traditional wool weaving.  She also tells traditional stories.

I love being apart of the Pemberton Farmer’s Market.
