The Village of Pemberton (VOP) and Lil’wat Nation have been working towards the concept and completion of the Friendship Trail since 2004 to provide a direct and safe, non-motorized route between Mount Currie and the Village. Phase one of the project is community consultation for the location of a bridge needed to cross Lillooet River.
