On Sunday September 30, rain or shine, Stewardship Pemberton celebrates our rivers.
Be part of the habitat restoration working bee that will be planting trees and shrubs along Pemberton Creek at One Mile Lake Park.
Visit the Nature Center for kids crafts including fish prints, beaver lodge and osprey nest construction, and native seed ball for planting.
Local naturalists will be on site to lead nature and interpretive walks of the area.
An all levels outdoor Karma Yoga class will round out the day, and the celebration will wrap up with a communal camp fire at the One Mile Lake Park beach (marshmallows and sticks provided, weather and fire ban permitting).
