Pemberton celebrity farmer and newspaper columnist Anna Helmer will be the guest speaker this Tuesday at the Museum’s summer Tea and Tales. taking time out from shepherding fields of potatoes into life to chat about modern farming.
Tea & Tales runs every Tuesday from July 10th, 2012 through until August 21st, 2012 from 2pm to 4 pm.

Each week tea-goers are invited to listen to a local tale presented by a Pemberton resident on various themes connected to life in the valley. The presentations are filmed for the historic record in the Soo Building. If they wish, visitors can simply just enjoy the grounds and have tea with a friend in the shade of the cedars.
Or check out the amazing gift shop full of locally-made art and crafts.

Anna is a wonderful writer. For a suburban fellow like myself her articles about life on the farm are so insightful. I especially like that she writes from a contemporary and hip perspective about her profession. Tea with Anna sounds fantastic!
