Share your vision for mental health in the Sea to Sky

That everyone has the support and an understanding from the community for their mental wellness no matter where on the spectrum they are.

That was one response on the Sea to Sky survey, currently online and seeking your input on a vision for mental health throughout the corridor.

What’s yours?

Sea to Sky Innovations in Mental Health (IMHP) recently received a grant from the Vancouver Foundation, to extend the reach of the Sea to Sky Mental Health Partnership Table (MHT).

The Mental Health Partnership Table has been a collaborative initiative since 2012  between Child and Youth Mental Health Protection, Helping Hands, North Shore Schizophrenia Society, P’qusnalcw Health Centre, RCMP, School District 48, Sea to Sky Community Services Society, Squamish Nation, VCH Mental Health & Addiction Services, Division of Family Practice/physicians and Whistler Community Services Society. The group came together voluntarily to try and improve responses to complex situations involving mental illness in our local communities.

The IMHP is now expanding the dialogue about promotion of mental health to community members, workplaces and other leaders.

Your input will assist in setting priorities and creating the agenda for a regional planning event in late 2014. You are welcome to add submissions as an individual, group or organization. The survey will take an average of 15 minutes to complete. This survey is voluntary. Responses are confidential and anonymous unless you provide your name for further contact.
