Highlights from The Wellness Gathering 2013: Slideshow

Thanks to Wellness Almanac contributor Gary Martin for being the official photographer of the Wellness Gathering this weekend past.

Thanks also to our event organiser, Kara Walker, the Award Nominees and Recipients for their dedication, and the presenters and exhibitors for making the Wellness Gathering such a vital celebration.

The 2013 Wellness Gathering was possible thanks to the support and efforts of the Village of Pemberton, Lil’wat Nation, Squamish Lillooet Regional District, Union of BC Municipalities, Al Leblanc, Pedrini Construction, Mountain Glass & Mirros, Dave Steers Photography, Art Junction, Matt Prescott and Snowline Catering, North Arm Farm, Pemberton Valley Nursery, Log House Inn B&B, Pemberton Valley Supermarket, and our media team, videographer Nevin Falloon, designer Kiran Pal-Pross, and Winds of Change Steering Committee members, particularly Bettina Falloon and chair Sheldon Tetreault.

Here are a few highlights from his coverage. Watch for more to come.

In the meantime, let us know if you were there: what were your highlights of the day?

“I would be lying if I said it doesn’t feel good to be recognized. There are a lot of incredibly good (nominees) this year, so it’s maybe even more of an honour to be chosen out of 40.” Geoff Pross, Winds of Change Recognition Award recipient

“Because it’s all about wellness, this event really highlights not only the talent within the communities but also what the communities offer to the general public for your health and wellbeing.” Chief Lucinda Phillips
