Tea & Tales is a weekly event that runs at the Pemberton Museum every Tuesday starting July 9th, 2013 through until August 20th, 2013 from 2pm to 4 pm. Visitors can enjoy tea, coffee, or juice and homebaked treats for $2.
Each week tea-goers are invited to listen to a local tale presented by a Pemberton resident on various themes connected to life in the valley. The presentations are filmed for the historic record in the Soo Building. If they wish, visitors can simply just enjoy the grounds and have tea with a friend in the shade of the cedars.
This week, Orayne Carrie will share tales about The Durban Family and their settlement history in Seton Portage.
Orayne researched the Durban family history in memory of her Grandmother, Frances Mary Webb Durban.
