I heard this song the other night – after reading headlines about the #IdleNoMore movement and talking to Pemberton’s mayor, Jordan Sturdy about the future of recreation in this region. Sturdy said: “If we don’t do this together, we won’t get the chance to do this at all.” And I thought, what a mantra for the Winds of Change, and for all of us here in Pemberton, Area C, Lil’wat and N’Quatqua, for the year ahead.

The only way we can survive? We travel as equals or not at all.
