Sighted: Seeds, galore

A friend showed me how to ensure I march into next spring with a sense of wealth and abundance – harvest seeds from my garden!

The cosmos, which splashed pink all around the yard for months, are starting to wither. And in their place, leaving tiny little starburts of prickly-looking seeds. Left to dry on the plant, they’re easily harvested in your hands, tucked into brown paper bags, and labelled “cosmos 2012”.

That means, a gift of 6 flowers this spring from a friend, will just keep on giving.

Thanks Kris, for the seeds, and Sarah, for the tutorial!
