Sliammon Nation youth, Ta’Kaiya Blaney, made headlines when she wrote a song to speak up against the Enbridge Northern Gateway Pipeline.

“If we do nothing, it will all be gone.”

The 11 year old from North Vancouver recalled, at a rally outside the Vancouver Art Gallery in March this year, how she was chased from Enbridge’s Vancouver office when she tried to present her song to company officials.
