The Winds of Change is an effort to come together –

an acknowledgement that the distance between Mount Currie and Pemberton is greater than 8.5km, because the policies of the past, for which Canada formally apologised in 2008, which left deep hurts,

but that we also depend on each other.

We live in small communities, and funding and social services aren’t as available or responsive as we need them to be.

To be strong healthy communities, we need to build capacity from within ourselves. We need to work together.
